GREAT!!! Before I start I ALWAYS look into companies before investing into them. Called and spoke with john for a good half hour. Friendly, nice, upfront. He didn't pressure me, and I took home a nice truck. Definitely worth the drive from Orange County.
As a vendor/specialty subcontractor I do business with maybe a dozen car dealers in the Space Coast area. There are two that I would willingly buy a car from. BVM is one of them.
They sold a car with a damaged engine after telling me the engine had been checked and fixed. Turns out the engine has low compression. I told them I needed a reliable car to drive my child to and from school, the car they sold me left me stranded 3 times in 2 months and cost me over $500 just to make it drivable again. So if you are looking for a reliable car that you can just hop in and drive without worry this is NOT the place to shop. As the salesman told me (after I bought the car from them) “these are used cars are there will be issues”. I have had nothing but issues, not just little things like the wrong windshield wipers. Things like the cooling fan going bad. It had new-ish tires on it but whoever replaced the tires didn't replace the valve stems; this left me on the side of the road twice with flat tires and cost me over $250. If you do decide to buy here make damn sure you have your mechanic check the car over from front to back, including a compression test before you give them any money. Buyer Beware!
I bought a 2007 Honda Civic from here and it works like new. The staffs are amazing people who just wants to see there customers happy. Especially the owner Rick is a great guy. I would advice people to do business with this company, they are very reliable and you will never regret your experience with them.
I had a very positive experience buying a car from Brevards. First, I traveled from Charleston, SC to purchase a car sight unseen for my son to take to College – because they had the car that he wanted. John was very helpful in doing an honest assessment of the vehicle’s condition as he walked around the car with me on the phone. He accurately described the few minor blemishes of a 10 year old car – that was still in great condition. Next, Liz took the car for a test drive and sent me the video of the experience. This really helped me get past the $500 non-refundable deposit that was required to purchase. The actual sale went super smooth and Liz was very accommodating. Perhaps the best part of my experience was what happened after the purchase. While driving back home, the AC unit did not function properly – and when I got my mechanic back home to fix it (a plugged cabin filter) he noted an oil leak coming from the transmission that needed to be addressed. When I mentioned this to Liz, her first response was to express her regret that I had those issues – and she immediately offered some assistance in resolving the matter. I felt that her offer was very fair and the items have now been fixed on the car. I would definitely consider purchasing another vehicle from Brevards and am very pleased with my overall car purchasing experience.
