The best part for me, however, was the staff. Wimbsy(I think was his name) was seriously one of the friendliest, most helpful employees I have ever encountered. He really made the whole experience extremely pleasant! It's rare that I write reviews but I felt he deserved credit for being such an outstanding employee!
Quality of the theater was nice, but service was extremely slacking. Our movie was scheduled to start at 7:00, and only after I got up at 7:15 and found an attendent in the main lobby did our movie finally begin. The only word given to us when the movie was started was not an apology, but an excusing themselves by blaming a power surge earlier in the day. It felt though like they had just paid no attention to the showing and could have fixed it before 7:00.
Its a bit pricey, but it is still average for most theaters. I love how you choose your seat. Hopefully the get lounge chairs next!
This place used to be a Carmike now it is AMC. The service and the cleanliness of the restrooms are going downhill quick. People go in and rip things off the walls in the men's room like the toilet tissue dispenser and paper towel dispensers. It's pretty sad. If you go to the matinee early on Sunday morning don't expect spectacular service there's only two people working there and it doesn't seem like either one of them know what they're doing. When we went last Sunday there were no drink cups out yet, no popcorn buckets out yet, and the sign times had not been changed nor had the movie names on each theaters display number plate.
I also found their corporate decisions unfriendly for customers. Allowing people to cut in front of a line via "Stubs Premier Service" is just a disservice to all the other customers.
I went and saw 'It' here a couple weeks ago and have been meaning to write this review since. The movie theater itself is nice and new, good picture and sound quality.
Padded seats in the IMAX. Sat in row F seat 19 had a bar to prop my feet on. Saw Justice League. Amazing visual quality but the speakers cracked a bit. Service was good at the snack counter. I am an AMC club member and had gotten reserve seating. It was a great experience.
